Looking for advice, as our window is opening soon to book shore excursions for our cruise. Is it worthwhile to do boat trips into both of the fjords (from Flam into Hyefjorden and Ålfotefjorden by catamaran and Geiranger by RIB boat)? We're considering doing the train to Myrdal in Flam in the morning only (and catamaran cruise in the afternoon), but we could plan for an all day excursion on our own, for example taking the train, then doing the zipline/bike back to Flam and forgoing the afternoon boat ride. We are pretty firm on the RIB in Geiranger. Thoughts?
TIA!
Are you aware that Flam and Geiranger are very different regions and that the fjords are not directly connected to each other?
And with PIB do you mean rib boat?
Yes, of course I’m aware they are different fjords. We have stops in Flam, Alesund, and Geiranger.
And yes, RIB.
