Hello. I am doing research for my in-laws who are in their mid 80's. They want to do a river and fjord cruise this summer. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with any of the cruise company's? I think they are looking for a minimum one week to 12 day itinerary. They are interested in an agenda that incorporates some local small towns mixed with the bigger locations. Not sure how many countries are typically covered in these itineraries. But I would think Norway and Sweden minimum?

I’ve done two cruises with Princess to Norway. The first was 14 days roundtrip Southampton and went along the Norwegian coast line up around the North Cape. The second one was shorter, 7-9 days and focused on the fjords. Both had many scenic opportunities.
