My wife and I have a global 15 day pass and I was wondering if we have to book all the trains and the ferry through Norwayinanutshell.com or can we use our eurail pass and get to Flam from Oslo, Flam to Aurland and so forth instead of paying the 520 dollars for the one-way fare?

You can just reserve the train departing Oslo, preferably a few days ahead, or even a couple of weeks ahead in June and July, easiest to do at a train station in Scandinavia. Then, you don't need to reserve the connecting trains and ferries. (520 kroner = about $105)
