Unless I'm missing something, Rick doesn't talk about any parking in Geiranger. Is there a lot somewhere that I could park all day while we hike out to the Skageflå farm. Also, is there any parking in the area around Homlong (along the Fjord just west of Geiranger)? The latter might be an option as well.

We were there last year and I don't remember having parking issues. We stayed just outside of town for 3 nights, so we would drive into town. There was a pretty big lot near the grocery store and we also parked near the Fjord Centre and the port.. All the parking was pay parking and I don't remember any time limits.

This link has good parking info. There was one couple with us on the fjord tour (parking 1 is what we used), and the ferry dropped them off on the return trip for them to hike up the trail to Skageflå farm.
