Planning on taking train to Flam, staying overnight and continuing on to Bergen. Looking for the most cost effective way to book tickets. We will be in Oslo in June 2023 and wanted to know if we should book it all in advance.
Also is it worth while to buy a rail pass, We are going to many countries and found flying is sometimes cheaper and faster. The whole rail pass in Europe seems very overwhelming. Thanks for any advice you have.

If you want to take the Flamsbana from Myrdal down to Flam, you can buy a ticket from Oslo to Flam from vy.no. You'd then need a second ticket on to Bergen.
