Hi Everyone
Will be in Oslo in early September for 5 days, any recommendations? Has anyone tried any of the Saunas in Oslo, recommendations? I’m starting to plan, I am interested in what people might recommend. Thanks.

Visit Vigeland Sculpture Park, excellent!

We were in Oslo in late September 2022 for a week. Agree that Vigeland sculpture park is great. We also enjoyed the Munch museum and new National Museum. We stayed in an apartment in Grunerlokka and loved the area - lots of cafes and restaurants and a quick tram ride into town.

Unfortunately, that material hasn't been updated in a while, so there are at least three errors:
- The National Gallery is no more; it's collections are now part of the very good, new National Museum.
- TheMunch Museum has been rep,aced by MUNCH, which is in a new building near the Opera House.
- The Viking Ship Museum is closed for work so extensive the museum is not due to reopen until 2025 or 2026. There are some Viking exhibits (not ships) at the Kulturhistorisk Museum.
