Oslo Fjord

We will be traveling from Copenhagen to Oslo via overnight ferry later this month. We are looking forward to a slow evening on the water. I understand the Oslo Fjord is a beautiful way to enter Oslo in the morning.

We have never made the this trip before and are wondering about what time we should get up in the morning to enjoy the best of the scenery. The ferry arrives in Oslo at 10am. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Tom

I would think being ready to leave the ferry by 8-9am would give you plenty of time to enjoy the arrival.

"Later this month" puts you right at the longest day of the year, so there certainly won't be any shortage of daylight! I'd be inclined to ask the staff on the ferry what they suggest. You can also check on whether there will be an automatic wake-up call, and at what time.

Yes, we are looking forward to the added daylight. Asking the staff is a good suggestion. We leave Copenhagen on June 20 .... Lots of daylight!

Looking forward to your review of the trip and any tips you might have. I just booked this same ferry route today for late August. Thank you, Laurie
