We were at the Oslo City Hall today and there are two major updates!
1- they have just begun to force people to ONLY see the city hall by tour! We have visited there a few times in the past and wanted to go stroll around the building again, but starting today, you are required to see it in a group! This is a test run for two weeks, so unfortunately we won’t visit this time. What a shame!
2- the cafeteria is closed for a year-long remodel.
Bummer day at the City Hall today!
It has never occurred to me that a major world city would let visitors just "stroll around" City Hall. You would soon be turfed out if you tried that in Montreal. We visited Stockholm City Hall once but with a group. Is this not for reasons of security, considering the world we now live in?
