My husband and I enjoy going to farmers markets around Seattle to purchase fresh produce and handmade items (e.g. jewelry, notecards, lotions). We'll be traveling to Norway in mid-May and are wondering if there's any such thing in the cities we'll be visiting? We realize climate and time of year probably won't yield as much in the way of fresh foods but hoping to find some crafts. Has anybody visited any?

Thanks very much for the info MarkK! Bergen’s Fish Market and Grünerlokka look like good stops. I’m thinking of something more rustic, like what’s shown on this video: https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=edmonds%20farmers%20market. (You’ll need to scroll down a bit to "Explore Edmonds, Nov 9, 2024.") But you’re right, it's too early in the year and perhaps not as common as it is in Seattle.
