I have one extra day in Bergen following the RS Best of Scandinavia Tour before moving on. According to the description, we will see the Sognefjord as part of the tour--here is what the info states: After breakfast our bus will climb the highest road in northern Europe (4,600 ft.) to the windswept Jotunheimen for a panorama of glittering snow and 8,100-foot peaks. We'll then take a dramatic corkscrew-drive down to sea level and hop aboard a ferry for a 2½-hour scenic Sognefjord cruise between cliffs and waterfalls (replicating the fjord cruise portion of the "Norway in a Nutshell" route). I think a good use of my time on my free day would be to see another fjord (especially as one of my hobbies is landscape photography!) The only 1 day tours I can find are by "Norway in a Nutshell." The two 1-day tours they offer are Hardangerfjord and Lysefjorden. I would appreciate any insight anyone has into which might make a good choice. Also, if other 1 day tours are available in Bergen (found lots of multi day fjord tours.) TIA for you time and thoughts.
