I am going on a cruise out of Copenhagen in the summer of '23. We will have 6 days to explore on the front end, and I was thinking of flying into Oslo (2 days), taking the train to Gothenburg (1 day), and finishing out by train to Copenhagen (2.5 days). Has anyone done similar? Or have any tips? I am open to all suggestions, this will be our first time in Scandinavia.

Where does your cruise go? Is it a Baltic cruise or Norway fjords cruise?
We have been to Stockholm (once) and Copenhagen (4 times) and loved them. I am sure Oslo has lots to offer, but based on my research, I think Copenhagen would be were to go for most of your time. Not sure why you are going to Gothenburg?
If you do Copenhagen, be sure and take the day tour out of the city that visits the Viking Center (Viking ships there) and some castles.
Also, do a harbor cruise and take in this wonderful city.
Our favorite cruise was a Norway cruise out of Copenhagen that went up the coast of Norway all the way to the North Cape. It visited six ports and the fjords were amazing.
