NORWAY - question on Fjord Safari from Flam

I am planning to do the Norway in a Nutshell this summer - Oslo to Bergen with an overnight in Flam. On the day of arrival in Flam - I want to book the 2hr Fjord Safari that afternoon, since the train arrives in Flam before noon. Next morning I want to continue the NiN and take the Flam-Gudvangen cruise and bus/train on to Voss/Bergen. My question is this: Is the Flam-Gudvangen cruise offered in the morning as part of the NiN ? I realize that both the Fjord Safari and the Flam-Gudvangen cruise covers some of the same parts of the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord. But I think these would be 2 very different experiences - would love to hear from any travelers who had done this as an extension of their Norway in a Nutshell. Many thanks !
