Have you already booked your flights? Have you considered flying into Tromsø and then head south to Bergen?

Keep in mind early sunsets in late November and Polar Nights in Tromsø above the Arctic Circle.

I am assuming you are doing the Norway in a Nutshell day trip. Consider dropping Stegastein so you can have more of your scenic trip in the daytime. And select the tour option: Bergen-Voss-Naeyorfjord-Flåm for the most daylight for the scenery.

To include Stegastein on a day tour you would be traveling part of the journey in the dark. Depending on the route you select, either the Flåm Railroad and the train to Bergen or the bus from Gudvangen to Voss and the train to Bergen.

I haven't been to Norway in the winter. Whether you spend more time in Trondheim or Tromsø would depend on what you want to do.

Don't plan on dogsledding or snowmobiling, I would not count on there being enough snow in november. Going a bit further inland will increase your chances, but it's not guaranteed. Going a bit inland will also increase your chances of seeing the northern lights.

Trondheim is a charming city, well worth a few nights.
