Norway in a Nutshell in 8 hours from Flam

My husband and I will be on a cruise ship in May stopping in Flam from 8 AM until 6 PM. I really, really, want to see as much of Norway without missing the boat. I would appreciate your advice on doing the best of "Norway in a Nutshell" with time constraints.

Thank you and I hope you have some suggestions.

Possible. See: https://www.norwaynutshell.com/original-norway-in-a-nutshell/flam/

(Note that it is possible to self-book each travel mode yourself and save a bit especially if you can book Minipris rail tickets). Just don't make a mistake and miss the boat.)
(I'm surprised that the cruise ship isn't pitching a excursion add-on package featuring this route).

Thank you for your help. If we can make this loop on our own it will be the highlight of the our stay in Norway.

Thanks again.
