Norway in a Nutshell

We are planning to do "Norway in a Nutshell" trip in early May. We will be starting in Oslo and ending in Bergen. I understand you take a 6:60 AM train from Oslo to Myrdal and that you should reserve that train in advance.

Then you take a scenic tourist train down to the fjord hamlet of Flåm.

Then you catch a catch a ferry to the village of Gudvangen.

Then you take a bus to Voss.

Lastly you take a Train from Voss to Bergen.

MY QUESTION IS WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR TICKET(S) AND WHAT DOES IT COST?

One-way from Oslo to Bergen, the whole Nutshell package costs 1,550 kr, according to the draft for Rick's new Scandinavia book (out next month). Standard ticket prices for the middle Nutshell legs are 320 kr for Myrdal-Flåm; 300 kr on either line for the Flåm-Gudvangen boat; and 100 kr for the Gudvangen-Voss bus (buy from driver). The remainder of the 1550 kr price is for the legs operated by the Norwegian State Railway. Fjord Tours sells these packages online or at their office in Oslo central train station.

This is a follow up question for Laura: Is it necessary to pre-purchase the NIN tickets for trips in May?? We will have a car and be staying in Aurland, so we will not be doing the typical tour and do not have the itinerary set.

Also, are there major revisions with the new Scandanavian Book as I just picked up the current one a few weeks ago. Do you have a release date?
