norway fjords trip planning

we are coming from the uk in july end or august 1st week to norway (oslo) . want to take norway in a nutshell tour . i was looking at few tours and cnfused which tour to take. i liked oslo via bergen round trip. there are no flights from manchester to bergen otherwise would have taken bergen flight rather than oslo. now there are few questions arising. we are 2 adulst 2 children and will use public transport.
day 1 : reach oslo and roam around oslo
day 2: tour departing from oslo at 8.25 and go to myrdal flam gudvangen voss and reach bergen at 20.59. we stay overnight at bergen
day 3: see bergen and then take a train at 15.57 from bergen and reach at 22.27 at oslo( and stay overnight) . i wanted to take the train at 22.27 from bergen so can reach next day at oslo at around 6 am( they have sleeper options) but i think over the weekend train doesnt run at night. is it running on working days only ? is this time enough to see bergen?
day 4: back flight to manchester

"is this time enough to see bergen?"
Of course depends on your interests and for sure not in depth but some basics you can visit in 7-8 hours. Hope you have luck with the weather. Bergen and Fjordland of Norway are one of the most rainy regions of Europe.

Train connections can be checked on is this page: https://www.nsb.no/en/frontpage

Just as info: There are direct flights between Bergen and LGW. See also few flights to / from Manchester but do not know whether operated in summer.
