We are going to take the Car Ferry from Kaupanger to Gudvangen, (Fjord2.com). It shows only a couple of options each day. We were thinking of the 15:00 ferry. My question, do you think we need to make a reservation ahead of time for the ferry. I know other ferries have several options each day but this one doesn't.
Also is it better to go to the Gudvangen or Flam directions. This ferry has both options.
