Hello! My husband and I are in our 30s and have booked a cruise to Norway. We were hoping to kayak in Flåm but the kayak excursion provided through the cruise is booked. I found a local company in Flåm who will take us on a 2 hour kayak of Aurlandsfjord and then a 2 hour cycling tour of the Flåm valley for about $1,000. My question is, will we regret not going to Naeroyfjord? There is a ferry ride from Flåm to Naeroyfjod with a bus to take us back that we could do instead but we love being active. I know we will have seen Aurlandsfjord while cruising into Flåm. What are your thoughts?

Why don't you do kayaking on Nærøyfjord? Bus and ferry connection you know already.

MarkK thank you for the link! I looked into that company and they appear to be booked for our date. There are 2 others in Gudvangen though that I’ve reached out to so maybe that will work out! It looks like the Norway’s best shuttle can be used without the ferry too which would cut down on the commute time.

Yes, unless you visit other really stunning fjords. Naeroyfjord is one of two World Nature Heritage fjords in Norway - for a good reason.
