Last summer my greater family (25+ of us) visited family friends in Northern Norway. We were able to spend a couple of days at a small 'resort' in the little fishing village of Sommaroy. It was beautiful! The water is as blue, and the sand as white as Caribbean waters. We were able to visit during August, so there was so much sun, which in itself was incredible. We are Oregonians, and the sea in Sommaroy was warmer than our Pacific ocean! Absolutely beautiful. Not at all touristy, and a beautiful ride from Tromso to Sommaroy.
