Nordic value tours

While I know I can book these independently this trip I want someone else doing the job. Has anyone used Nordic Value as a tour operator. I'm looking at the 7 day Oslo NIN with overnight in Flam to Bergen trip. Traveling with dad who has some mobility challenges but can transfer to trains independently and walk short distanced. Thanks

I don't see a tour operator with that name.
Do you mean Nordic Visitor? A link to the exact tour would be helpful.

Dianejay, I'm not finding the tour company you mentioned to see what is included.

However, it is fairly easy to book a week trip in Norway from Oslo to Bergen yourself.

The Norway in a Nutshell can be booked with FjordTours. They can even include your overnight hotel in Flåm. I would also add the Stegastein Viewpoint tour for fantastic views of the fjord from up above.

And to make things easier for traveling with your dad, use the Porter Service for your bags. We sent our 2 bags from Bergen to Oslo with the porter service and only carried 1 small backpack for our overnight in Flåm.

We actually booked all the components of the Nutshell ourselves and saved a bit of money. But, FjordTours may be worth the convenience for you.

Yes it's Nordic Visitor. Now you see why I need a keeper. Thanks for the suggestions

I just took a look at Nordic Visitor. Reviews seem to be good.

However, you are looking at a very simple tour. Nordic Visitor looks to be about a 50% markup for the convenience. It is really only giving you the same hotels you could book yourself as well as the same NIN package that I referenced earlier. Everything else, hotel transfers, porter service, etc... is additional at a marked up price. Maybe they've offered you a discount that I'm not seeing.

It does spend 2 nights in very expensive Flåm, which is 1 night to many, IMO, unless you are also planning to kayak, bike and hike.

1 night will give you plenty of time to walk around Flåm, visit the railway museum and shops and take the tour to Stegastein Viewpoint.

If you really don't want to book it yourself, with the help of posters here, then maybe a local travel agent could book your hotels and NIN tour. It just seems to be a high convenience fee to me.
