Mid June Norway Itinerary

Hello! Here is our itinerary. We have planned all the top things to see/do in these areas as time and weather permits(museums, fortresses, stave church, angling trip in Balestrand, fjord cruises, etc). We will be hiking in each area. We are avoiding the instagram hikes, opting for the road less traveled, but with breathtaking views. We have booked our hotels, etc. What do you recommend for mid price casual restaurants (any type of food is fine with us) - that may have nice views or is out of the main stream? We do have an airbnb in Aurland, so will cook and do laundry at that place. Anything else that you may suggest? Thank you!

Day 1 – Oslo
Day 2- take train to Bergen
Day 3- Bergen – Hardangerfjord/ Vøringsfossen/ Steinsdalsfossen
Day 4- drive to Aurland –
Day 5 – Flam railway (no cruise ship day)
Day 6 – drive to Balestrand
Day 7 - drive to Geiranger
Day 8 – Geiranger - (no cruise ship day)
Day 9 – drive via Trollstigen to Andalsnes
Day 10- Andalesnes
Day 11 – drive to Oslo airport - stop in Lillehammer for lunch

On Day 9 I would suggest Gudbrandsjuvet Café at Gronning for lunch.

We hiked up to Westerås Restaurant in Geiranger for the view. We had a kitchen in our cabin so we didn't eat here, but I have read that the food is good.

Thank you! We are interested in fishing in the fjords with a guide - any suggestions?
