Long Itinerary - Any final advice?

Hello all,

I posted back in August and got some great ideas from the community here. I took out Trollstigen and Trollstunga due to us being a bit afraid of the crowds there. I am always grateful that people take the time to make sure my plans sound sane. Please see my below itinerary and let me know if I've messed anything up or could optimize. We are into hiking and nature but also plan to have some nicer stays as it is our honeymoon. :)

I understand there's a lot in there and if were feeling tired we are not against having a slow day. Just ideas for seeing what we want to see!

8/7: Arrive to Stavanger around noon. Shuttle into town. Check in. Walk around. Potential to take 3pm lysefjord cruise if feeling awake? [Stay: Stavanger City Center]
8/8: Kjerag hike. Take Kjerag express bus (2.5 hrs). Leaves around 8 AM. Back at 7 PM. $180 for 2 ppl [Stay: Stavanger City Center]
8/9: Stavanger to Bergen (bus or ferry - ferry more expensive but nicer and slower) Check out town/relax/nice dinner. [Stay: Airbnb in Bergen - may change]
8/10: Bergen explore? [could cut out this day or take 3 hr bus to odda or go to Flam if wanted to do other optons??] [Stay: Airbnb in Bergen - may change] If go to odda then could do Lower Buarbreen hike
8/11: Pick up car. Then drive to Loen (5 hrs) Borgund stave church? Hike Jostedalsbreen glacier? [Stay: Loen Area]
8/12: Loen. Hike. Brikdalsbreen. Kjendalsbreen glacier? [Stay: Loen Area]
8/13: Loen explore then drive to Geiranger? (2.5 hrs) Dalsnibba Viewpoint? [Stay: North of Geiranger]
8/14: Geiranger fjord cruise?. May need to book car ferry. Seven sister hike? Geiranger or further north activites? [Stay: North of Geiranger]
8/15: Geiranger to “close to Alesund” (1 hr). Trollstigen? [Stay: Near Liabygda - halfway to Alesund in nice hotel]
8/16: Alesund and Area explore [Stay: TBD either Andalsnes to Alesund] Romsdalseggen Ridge hike if in Andalsnes? Mount Aksla viewpoint if in Alesund?
8/17: Drive back to Bergen (8 hrs) or take Hurtigruten at 1 AM (14 hrs vs 8 hrs) (Could book with no room to save money but would not be ideal) [Stay: TBD] (Could fly to Bodo/Leknes this day and then take ferry if needed)
8/18: Fly/Transfer to Lofoten and get rental car (could cut a day off lofoten if want to more in Alesund)
8/19: Lofoten hike. Reinebriggen hike? [Stay: Henningsvær]
8/20: Lofoten hike. Offersøykammen hike? [Stay: Henningsvær - can change this stay for different locations if needed]
8/21: Lofoten hike. Innersand - Ryten hike? [Stay: Henningsvær] (Would love to try and go to vaeroy?? May not work with timing however)
8/22: Lofoten hike. Kvalvika hike? (The Lofoten hikes may change order and likely will not hike everyday. Just options. Likely check out towns if not hiking. Possible kayak/E bike?) [Stay: Henningsvær]
8/23: Will need to pack up/ leave midday at latest. Get to Oslo night before early flight on 8/24.
8/24: Fly final legs home from Oslo.

No interest in midnight sun? I would start 10 days earlier at North Cape (midnight sun until July 31st). After this Lofoten and the rest.

The Stavanger part costs a lot of time for Kjerag only. Check if hikes around Hardangerfjord give you the same value, e. g. Dronningstien; so you could enhance the car trip from Bergen.

Norway has more unique hiking experiences.

Great advice Mark! We did look at changing our starting point around and were actually looking at starting from Alesund instead of Stavanger, but the flights are already booked to Stavanger and was too much of a hassle to get up there. Just thought we would make the most of Stavanger. Also, some good hike options in that link. I'll see if any make sense with our route.

Definitely a good reminder on the weather. Wont plan on anything definitely being accessible as a downpour could happen at any time. We will have our fingers crossed!
