Hi travelers,
I'd appreciate any advice on visiting the Lofoten Islands, leaving from Bodo. Things like ferries, renting a car for a few days, best places for lodging, site seeing, any special place you loved.
Thanks in advance!
Welcome to the forum.
Did you do a research on the forum already? In most cases it is more effective that you ask concrete questions after choosing the first things you are interested in.
Also some details would help, e. g. how much time do you have and which month of year you plan to travel?
For me the question is too wide.
I don't have a great deal of advice since I only visited for one day via cruise ship. I did find the scenery spectacular and enjoyed some time at a fishing village and Haukland Beach. This beach made me feel like I could be in Hawaii with the jagged peaks and white sand. It helps that it was a beautiful sunny day.
I could see spending several days in this location. I hope those with more experience can give you more detailed answers.

We plan to stay 3 nights, rent a car to drive around (mid September). Any suggestions on lodging, restaurants, and places you'd recommend seeing on the Lofoten Islands would be very helpful. Thanks!
