Last Minute Osolo Itinerary

My husband found out last week that he will be speaking at a professional convention in Oslo this June. We usually spend at least a year planning and reserving for our European trips, so this is a quick turn around! Neither of us has ever been to Scandinavia. We enjoy museums, art, and live music the most during our trips. We aren't super experienced hikers, but we enjoy being outside and are interested outdoor activities.

We are looking for feedback on our itinerary...

June 19-24- Oslo (These are unmovable due to the conference)
June 24-26- Norway in a Nutshell with two nights in Bergen
June 26-28- Stockholm OR Copenhagen; We'll take a flight from Bergen

Suggestions... Stockholm or Copenhagen? We're leaning toward Stockholm. Other cities we don't know about?
Must see places? Suggestions for restaurants?

Any help is appreciated!

Norway in a Nutshell in one day Oslo to Bergen is a long day. Although the tour is a lot of sitting, you might enjoy a more relaxing tour with an overnight stopover at one of the fjord towns.

I enjoyed Copenhagen but haven't been to Sweden. If you fly SAS, CPH is a hub from Bergen returning to major US cities (served by SAS). That would put you one stop closer to the States.

There's plenty to do and see in Oslo with excellent transit. For short hikes in the Nordmarka (local hills), just take the T1 Metro Frognerseteren. http://www.visitoslo.com/en/articles/nordmarka-forest/

I enjoyed the Bygdøy Peninsula museums, especially the Open Air Folk Museum and Fram Museum. Access from downtown Oslo by the ferry or Bus 30. http://www.visitoslo.com/en/activities-and-attractions/boroughs/bygdoy/

I've been to both Stockholm and Copenhagen and I would pick Stockholm. There's more to do and I think the city is prettier.
Have you considered going down the coast from Bergen to Stavanger? There are beautiful fjords in that area and the coastline is also breathtaking. Or you could fly up to Alesund and take in the Geirangerfjord and the Trollstigen Pass in the time you have?
Lots of good choices!
