Hello, I am new to this Forum. I am planning a 23 day trip for 2 people, to Scandinavia. Has anyone taken the Bus/Car Ferry from Bergen to Kristiansand, and then the Ferry onto Hirshals, Denmark and on to Aarhus? I am wondering about spending 1 night at Stavanger and continuing on the Ferry at Hirtshals. It seems like too long a journey to do in one day, and then catch the overnight Ferry. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I think you have some places mixed up. Hirtshals IS in Denmark and there is no ferry from there to Aarhus, but trains instead, the trip from Hirtshals to Aarhus takes 2,5 hours.
Sorry, I did not make myself clear. I know Aarhus is in Denmark.🤓 There is a train from the Ferry at Hirtshals to Aarhus, I believe. My question was more about getting from
Bergen to the Ferry Crossing at Kristiansand.
There is also a ferry from Bergen to Hirtshals https://www.fjordline.com/en/
Thanks for your reply. I am not a good traveller on water, so am trying to minimize that, and still see the sights.
