We are coming from Bergen for one day in the Flam area, by bus/train. Nothing arrives before 9:15 and the half day tours ive found that includes borgand stave church all begin at 9am. What ive found are on the bigger your company sites. I cant find a perhaps smaller more local tour company site. I cant afford private tour. Any suggestions? Thank you

FjordTours offers an afternoon tour to Borgund Stave Church and Stegastein Viewpoint.
There is also a local bus that goes to Borgund. But, I highly recommend Stegastein Viewpoint for the spectacular views over the fjord.

Same question here: We don't arrive until 14:20 in mid September and leave on the 12:10 train the following day. Are there any small transport companies that do private tours and work around the schedule of those booking rather than at a set time?

Another suggestion would be to contact Norway's Best and see what they can offer.
