I’m traveling with my mother to celebrate her 75th birthday this September to Norway and will be doing a Hurtigruten cruise on the Ms Nordnorge from Bergen to Kirkenes. We’ve got plans on either side, but I’m looking specifically for any tips (packing or otherwise) for the Hurtigruten. Given the celebration we splurged and have an upgraded cabin. I don’t anticipate we’ll be doing any great tours, perhaps more visiting town on our own during longer stops - though if there are any “must do” excursions I’d love to hear about them.
