Hjorundfjord

Our next year's cruise only visits one fjord- Flam. We have previously been on a cruise to Geirangerfjord that also stopped in Alesund, where we organized a private excursion to the islands. We will be in Alesund again on the upcoming cruise.

Departing from Alesund there is a r/t cruise on the Hjorundfjord that goes as far as Oye and back and would work with our time in that port. Other stops are Trandal, Saebo and Urke. Would this cruise be worth taking for scenery? There would be a 30-minute stop in Oye, but if we got off at one of the prior villages we'd have more time there so would that be preferred?

Thanks!

The Hjorundfjord is the fjord Norwegians are said to consider the most beautiful in Norway. Saebo village, with a population of about 900, makes for a good stopover for its spectacular setting near Skarasalen mountain and because the Sagafjord Hotel has a waterfront restaurant.

Thanks, Kenko!
After your kind reply to me I researched more and wonder if we could stop for lunch at Christian Gaard in Sandal?
