Help with itineray Lofoten plus

So we will be arriving in Lofoten on June 26, 2025 We wil be staying at the Lofoten Links as 3 in our group are playing midnight golf We will be there 2 nights this is set in stone Here are my questions. We are travelig from Toronto on June 24 and still trying to decide best route. Think possibly flying into Amsterdam and then taking EasyJet to EVE airport. We are open to all thoughts I am trying to figure where to spend our time after golf, which could impact our return to Toronto. We have a total of 11/12 nights depending of flights. Questions should we stay in the Lofoten Islands and spend a few days there then fly( or other mode of transportation) to Bergen, Flam or Bodo? Spend remainder of time and then leave from one of those airports. Oslo is not in the mix as we have ready been so would like to see other areas. We are all in our early 60s, except my daughter 36, she is the golfer with midnight golf as a bucket list item. We are all active. Will be interested in the scenery of course, hiking but not extensive, possibly Nordic Museume, Whales if we are at the correct time of year a good Sauna/spa. For me most important will not happen on this trip I will return as I need to see the Lights once again!!!! I would really love all suggestions. Also we will be renting 2 cars when we arrive Lofoten Islands I believe, if/when we leave there we can rent in the area we go to or use public transportation. If staying in Lofoten would love suggestions on the areas to stay. Many thanks.

It's better to use the actual names of airport rather than airport code. That way we'll know what airport you refer to. But if you're going to Lofoten the best options are probably to fly to Narvik or Bodø. And it's always better to avoid self connecting, if you're flying from Toronto my suggestion is to have a look at what SAS offers, www.flysas.com, it might be a two stop connection but you should be able to get the entire trip on a single ticket.

Regarding what else to do there are many options depending on what you are looking for. Whale watching can be a fun trip for a day. Or you can take the coastal ferry or train south to Trondheim for a few days. Or if you want to end with a few city days but not go to Oslo you can take the overnight train from Narvik to Stockholm and end the trip there.

So yes I would prefer flights directly to Narvik (EVE). I will do a little more investigating. I have had many thoughts about what we should. Once we have completed our stay at the Golf Links on December 28 my thought was to stay in Lofoten for a few days, just not sure of what area to look at staying. We would rent cars at the airport while there. Then possibly on July 1 fly (or is there a more scenic option like train) to get to either Bergen, Oslo. Then I thought of planning the Norway in a Nutshell trip with a sleep over. I would like to visit Bergen & Flam if possible. I am open to our return flight being from Bergen, Oslo or Bodo. Any thoughts.

Thank you
