Hi. We plan to finish our time in Norway by driving this national route. We will have already spend time exploring the fjords around Geiranger and visiting Trollstigen with relatives. We will drop them off at Vigra airport at noon on sept 20th and start heading north to Holm but would need to spend the night along the way as We prefer not to drive in the dark. Any suggestions? Our flight to Oslo/Amsterdam leaves Bodo around noon on the 24th so the night of the 23rd should be not more than 3 hrs. We fly back to the states on the 25th and have booked a room in Amsterdam for the 24th.
Appreciate any suggestions to break up this drive so we can explore and enjoy the route. We love to walk. . Where to stay, etc. I was in Norway last summer and drove the fjords near Aalesund so know that I need to factor in the ferry schedules as well as lower speed limits. Any advice would be welcomed.
