Head's up: Gamble Bergen Directions are WRONG in the book

We just got back from a lovely stay in Norway and want to give you a head's up if you decide to go to Gamble Bergen. We opted to go there since it was close to the center of the city, what appeared to be an easy walk and thought it would be sweet. Well, it was close and it was sweet but the directions in the RS guidebook are grossly incorrect.

The bus stop listed isn't anywhere on the bus routes. Not a one. We showed the book to many bus drivers and they shook their heads. When we got off the bus, at the stop labelled "Gamble Bergen" there was nothing to indicate where to go. Not one sign. And you're literally on a freeway so lots of noise, fast moving trucks. There was a litter covered staircase to the west, an exit for the freeway to the right. We got back on the bus, asked the driver who shook his head and suggested we go to the end of the line to ask for help. We did that, ended up on a bus headed east this time and finally got a driver who said, "I'll show you." A passenger on the bus finally pointed out what we wanted to know but still, even on the more obvious side of the freeway its not obvious.

Part 2: The book mentions a short walk. It was but there was a flight of stairs and a steep hill just to get there. I mention this because my mother had pulled her thigh muscle on the trip and we took one look at the steps and hill and she turned around to go back to the city center.

Once we - my aunt, uncle and myself - got there it was exactly has RS had indicated but it was tiny and not much to see. Sweet but not for those with mobility issues for sure.

Spellcheck must be at work here. I believe it is Gamle Bergen. I first thought you were looking for a casino.

Could be spell check, could be my lack of spelling capacity in any language :-)
