Flåm: ExpressBoat to Train transfer time?

I'm piecing together my trip and the ExpressBoat is scheduled to arrive at 13:25 in Flåm, and the next train is scheduled to leave at 13:35. I see that the travel time between the two locations is <10 minutes, but I'm guessing this may be too close to make a smooth transition. The next train is at 14:50, so not a short layover given what I understand there is to do in Flåm.

Has anyone else that has done the similar trip have thoughts on this? Would we make it from the ExpressBoat to the train in those 10 minutes?

Thanks!

I have done the route you plan to do, and yes, you can make it from the Norled "hurtigbåt" (express boat) to the train in ten minutes. Making that connection assumes no weather or mechanical issues that might delay the boat's arrival in Flåm. The day I took the boat there were no issues and it was precisely on time. The train platform is literally two minutes away. This overhead pic of the Flåm dock and surrounding area shows how close everything is (scroll about halfway down the page).

That said, I took a later train with a couple of hours to spare in between. Flåm may be a little touristy and small, but I enjoyed wandering around. Toured the Flåm train museum and had a craft brew at the Ægir Bryggeri. It was easy enough to make good use of the layover time.

Thanks for your experience! With that knowledge we'll pick the later train just in case and use it as an opportunity to grab a beer and maybe some lunch as well.

Thanks!
