I am wondering if anyone can confirm that there will only be one ship in Flam on July 2, 2025. When I look at cruisemapper I only see the Iona, yet it does not give an arrival or departure time. Next questiion is we are doing the NIN tour. I am booking the travel via the fjordstour website as it is easier for a group of 8 of us. I was planning on spending the night in Flam (I already have reserved a place). Then the following night stay in eithe Gudvangen or Voss (also have places reserved in both). Would like to know thoughts on staying 2 nights or should I just pick one out of the 3 to stay. I just know I do not want to do the NIN all in one day. Would love to her thoughts. Thank you
Are you relying entirely on public transportation?

Thank you for that schedule. I do only see the Iona in port that day. Also yes we will be doing all the transportation that is arranged via NIN. My real question is do I need to do 2 overnights while on the NIN trip. Or should we just stay at either Flam or Voss and add an additional nite on to Bergen. THank you
I would add an additional day for Bergen.
We did 15 days driving in Norway in 2023. We spent one day in Aurland and our next night was in Granvin. Because we had a car, we drove to Borgund Stave Church and Stegastein (via the Snow Road from Laerdal). If you have an interest in any of this or you want to hike, you might want 2 nights. Otherwise, I would probably just do one in Gudvangen or Voss.
All we saw in Voss was the train station and the car rental place. I wouldn't think that Voss would be worth a night.
Voss isn't on a fjord, so that would be a negative characteristic. I've read that it is a center for active sports, so that could be very attractive to some travelers. It also has lodging options that don't all sell out 6+ months ahead of time, so it can be a viable place to stay when Flam isn't.
