First trip to Norway-2 week itinerary help

Hello, I am planning our first trip to Norway for June 2025. We are wanting to spend about 2 weeks there. I have the Rick Steves snapshot Norway guide, which is great for Oslo, Bergen, and the Norway in a nutshell tour, but there are other places we would like to go as well that aren't covered in that book, like Geirangerfjord and Trondheim (side note-does anyone recommend another travel guidebook that covers more of Norway?)

I saw that there is a Geirangerfjord in a nutshell tour, but I don't know as much about the process of booking each step on our own. Would it make sense to start and end in Oslo, and do Norway in a nutshell followed by Geirangerfjord in a nutshell, but add on Trondheim after Dombas? And what would be the best way to travel from Trondheim back to Oslo? Is there anything special about the first 3 steps of the Geirangerfjord in a nutshell (cruise from Bergen to Maloy, bus from Maloy to Nordfjordeid, and bus from Nordfjordeid to Alesund) or would it be better to just fly from Bergen to Alesund?

I also saw that Hurtigruten might have a cruise from Bergen to Alesund, but when I went to try to check the prices and availability, it didn't look like there were any available for June 2025 (or is it just too much in advance?)

This is a rough itinerary that I have started, but not sure if it makes sense-should I change anything or add anything?

Day 1 Arrive in Oslo
Day 2 Oslo day 1
Day 3 Oslo-Myrdal-Flam (first 2 steps of Norway in a nutshell)
Day 4 Flam-Gudvangen-Voss-Bergen (last 3 steps of nutshell)
Day 5 Bergen
Day 6

Day 7 Bergen-Maloy-Nordfjordeid-Alesund (or flight from Bergen to Alesund?)
Day 8 full day cruise on Geirangerfjord
Day 9 Geirangerfjord-Andalsnes
Day 10 Andalsnes-Dombas (Rauma railway); Dombas-Trondheim (Dovre railway)
Day 11 Trondheim
Day 12

Day 13 Oslo day 2
Day 14 Depart Oslo

Sorry if my random thoughts don't make sense. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Two weeks are plenty of time.
Thought of adding Lofoten?

From your list I would recommend after NiN a port-to-port journey with Hurtigruten or Havila from Bergen to Svolvær (main village on Lofoten) or up to Tromsø. It includes Geirangerfjord, Trondheim and some more highlights. Booking for next summer seem not to be open right now. Tip: register for newsletters of Hurtigruten and Havila.

If not: Are you open for a car based round trip in the western fjords? See scenic routes in this area.
