We're staying in Tromso for 3-4 nights at the end of August after traveling in Norway for two weeks. We'd like to take day trips for hiking and seeing the Lyngen Alps, and possibly going to Nordkapp. Two questions:
1.are these the best things to see in that area, or other things you'd recommend we see or do?
2. Is it better for us to rent a car and drive or can we talk organized excursions to these sites from Tromso?
