Day tip to Flåm and Myrdal from Bergen

Hi,

We are planning Day tip to Flåm and Myrdal from Bergen and below is our iternaty.
Bergen to Flåm we want to travel exact same route mentioned in NiN.
8.39 Bergen to Voss by Train
10.10 Voss to Gudvangen by bus
11.30 Gudvangen to Flåm via cruise

We will reach Flåm at 13.30 stay there for about an hour
14.50 Flåm to Myrdal via famous Flåm rail
16.49 From Myrdal return to Bergen

We want to know if we can book this journey indivisually?
Is this one day trip advisible? Please let me know your suggestions

This is very doable. You can book the train tickets up to 3 months ahead through the Norwegian Railways - www.vy.no/en (Bergen-Voss & Flåm-Myrdal-Bergen). The boat ride through the Nærøyfjord between Flåm and Gudvangen can be booked through www.visitflam.com. The Gudvangen-Voss bus can't be booked ahead, but you can buy this from the bus driver upon arrival (I've never heard of anyone not getting on). You need to pay for the bus ticket in cash, 115 NOK.

You can book the entire trip through Fjord Tours, including the bus - www.fjordtours.no, but you will save about $30 per person by booking tickets individually.

The easiest option is to book this with Fjord Tours, as you can book it all as one package, but as Rich stated, you can save yourself a bit of money by booking the individual legs separately. Either way, it's a nice day trip from Bergen.
