Have decided that planning and traveling independently with Dad will not work for us for reasons I won't ho into. So looking at a Cosmo tour or Globus . I'm specifically looking at Cosmo Norway fjords trip. Has anyone used this company and what were your experiences with them ? Any other companies you would recommend. Thanks

Cosmos and Globus are the same company.
Back in the days before there was an internet or cell phones or when we had to use calling cards to call back to the US, I worked as a tour director for both companies.
Cosmos is basically the budget version of Globus. The difference being mostly the hotels and what's included. Sometimes, if Globus has a similar tour, it might actually work out to be cheaper once you add in all of the optionals offered by Cosmos but included with Globus.
The Cosmos tour will try to fill a bus. Globus does the same but some of their departures are small group.
The other thing I noticed about both tours is the numerous one night stays. That can get tiring.

As alternative have a look at Hurtigruten coastal cruises starting either in Bergen northbound or Kirkenes sourhbound.
Havila is the second cruise line operating this route. Their ships are newer than the ones from Hurtigruten which remains still the original.
