I’m planning a day trip to Malmo from Copenhagen but what would be the most effective way to reach Oslo from either location? I’m open to a train trip but maybe a flight would be more efficient

Buses from Copenhagen to Malmo run every 20 minutes and take just over 40 minutes
I'd go back to the Copenhagen Airport and fly over to Oslo. We flew on Norwegian Air Shuttle very reasonably last time we went to Oslo in about one hour.

What is more "effective" besides the effect that you end up in Oslo?
Lots of people use the DFDS ferry.
