Complicated Trip to Norway

I am looking for some assistance, I am planning a trip to Norway May of 2015.
I would like to visit the fjords, have checked on Hurtigruten website, are there cruises available for less than two days. Any other suggestions for cruiseline for the fjords? Probably launching from Bergen.

I am also seeing help with visiting the rock formations to Lysefjorden, Skeggedal, and Kjeragbolten.
I am looking for transportation options for more of a private transportation to these sites. Can anyone offer suggestions for these destinations?

...are there cruises available for less than two days....

You need to go to the hurtigruten website, not the coastal cruise site to book port to port to port or short trip voyages.

http://www.hurtigruten.com/us/Schedule/

To get to the port to port, select Norway Voyages and under "voyages" select Other Port Combinations. Note that you can also select a no cabin option and/or book vehicles from port to port.

Hi Yvonne,

You might consider taking the Norway-in-a-Nutshell trip either on route to Bergen from Oslo, or as a day trip from Bergen. It's a beautiful all day trip that combines travel by train, boat and bus through the Sognefjord. See www.fjordtours.no for details.

You can visit the Lysefjord easily as a day trip from Stavanger. Rodne Cipper Fjord Sightseeing has a 3.5 hour round-trip excursion through the Lysefjord from Stavanger - www.rodne.no. You can also hike up to Pulpit rock from Stavanger by bus and ferry. You can get details at the Stavanger Tourist office.

Stavanger and Bergen are connected by Flaggruten catamarans - www.tide.no, 1-2 boats daily, 4.5 hours. There are also inexpensive flights between Bergen and Stavanger on Norwegian Air, if booked ahead. See www.skyscanner.com for options.
