While Rick Steves' guidebooks say that it is possible to take a car ferry on Fjord1, there are several disagreements to the ability to take a car ferry on TripAdvisor and several other websites. Can anyone confirm whether this is possible? Tak!

The car service ended 2-3 years ago.
Your options are ferry + shuttle bus back or the ferry Gudvangen-Kaupanger.
