I have been trying for a couple of days to book either Color Line or Fjord Line Ferry from Kristiansand to Hirtshals. It accepts everything information wise, BUT my cell phone number, which is a Canadian one. Anyone know how to get around this? I tried putting in the cell number of the place where we wre staying in Bergen and that didn't work either. Without the cell number accepted, you cannot proceed with the booking. Thanks for any help. I would simply call them , the number is on the website

Did it ask you to choose a country or did you type +1 in front of the area code? That + in front of your country code usually helps.

It won't allow me to add the 1 in front of it. There is a place for ''öther'', and I tried that and it would not work, either.

In my experience I've found that getting any kind of tickets for Norway is best done by phone.

It is not easy to call, I already tried that. I did finally have success with my mobile number. It was as simple as adding a "0" in front of the long distance code. So, it reads 011, instead of 11. Thanks for your suggestions. Now on to booking more trains...
