Hello,
We are planning to take the Land of the Midnight Sun cruise with Princess. I was wondering, when we do the stretch from Honningsvag/ Trondheim, there are 2 Sea days. Will we be able to see the Lofoten Islands even if we don’t stop ?
I guess I don’t understand your question. The itinerary for this cruise shows a port stop at the Lofoten Islands and shore excursions available there. Can you clarify what you are asking?

Hi Carol,
You are not looking at the right cruise, this is the one we are looking at.

From Honningsvag, it goes directly to Trondheim (2 sea days). My question is that during this part of the cruise, are we able to see Lofoten islands since we are not making any stops.
This is a new itinerary for 2024. The 2023 itinerary with the same name is what I linked. I hope someone can answer your question since it is new. I don’t think Mark read your itinerary before responding….
Thank you!
I deleted my earlier post.
There is a clear indicator why you will not see the coast of Lofoten islands from the "inner" side (ship at east side of Lofoten) and that the ship will sail around the outside. For the inner side the ship would need to pass Raftsund but the ship is higher (217 feet) than the Raftsund bridge (appr. 145 feet). The large draft of the ship also only allows a limited approach to land.
