Does anyone know if there are private boat tours out of Balestrand or any nearby town? I am going with a group of 4 and would be interested in a half day or full day private tour for the 4 of us. I will be going at the end of May and the ferries don't seem to run too often.

Check out Balestrand Fjord Angling with Captain Tor. I bet he would put together something if he were able (i.e. doesn't have other commitments when you want to go), or would probably be able to point you in the right direction.
Or Balestrand Adventure , which may well be his outfit anyway. They are co-located.
