On May 31, I'm staying in Flam. I want to take the Flam to Gudvangen cruise, then a cruise from Gudvangen along the Naeroyfjord back to Flam. Can this be done in one cruise or is it always two different cruises?

It sounds like you want to do a round trip by boat, Flåm to Gudvangen, then retrace from Gudvangen to Flåm, cruising the Nærøyfjord both directions. While most people probably take the boat one way, then return to Flåm by bus, you could stay on the boat, but it would be a separate ticket for the return. So, one total cruise for you (remaining on the same boat), but going two opposite directions (with separate charges).
