Traveling in March, Oslo to Norway in a Nutshell. Where or how would we leave the Nutshell route to get to Sogndol for a night and then rejoin the Nutshell? We will be using public transportation.

It appears there is a bus between Flam and Sogndal.
So you would take the train from Oslo to Myrdal, then the Flamsbana to Flam, and then the bus to Sogndal.
Then the next day bus back to Flam. It appears the bus ride is about 1 1/2 hours each way.
