We're going on a Viking Ocean cruise starting in Bergen on July 1. Would love recommendations for best way to get from airport to ship. We'll be coming in after a long flight and would prefer not to do a bus, etc. Anyone know what a taxi or private car might cost 2 people. Thanks!

I am not sure of the final destination, but there is a shuttle "bus" which runs from the airport to downtown Bergen. Everyone is pretty much going to or coming from the airport. (A few people weren't) There are 2 types, a regular and one which is almost non-stop (express bus?). I believe you would not be far from the cruise lines at that point, but I am not sure. It may depend exactly where your ship docks (bigger ships dock further away.) Also, many cruise ships have shuttles from downtown to the ship itself. Of course, a taxi is an option as well. I am a bit vague, but some friends took a taxi instead of the shuttle and with 3 the price was not horrible but can't remember what they paid.
