We're hoping to take the 7-hour noon train ride from Oslo to Bergen. What do you think is the most scenic side to ride on, right or left?
We hope to make the trip on August 7th but we haven't been able to book seats yet; the Vy site says 60 days. We will try to get the Plus class seats.
Bookiing will open in 2 days time at 90'days out, although schedules may change between D-90 and D-60.
As with any long distance train, the best side varies during the journey, from one to the other.
Definitely get plus class. Side of carriage doesn’t matter as it’s a very varied journey.
The views are great on both sides.
