I'm planning on being in Bergen at the end of July. I want to take a roundtrip train ride from Oslo, stopping in Bergen for two days. I am looking for a day ferry (not a cruise) to go explore the fjords. Do I need to purchase tickets for it before I go? Thank you

Not a full day cruise but the Norway in a Nutshell route includesa Fjord cruise Flåm-Gudvangen, approx. 2 hours.
