I understand that there's a replica of the Gokstadt ship in the Bergen Maritime Museum. Is this a full-sized replica, or is it a smaller-to-miniature version of it? I'm so wanting to get to see a full-sized Viking ship, even if it is a replica. Thank you kindly for any information.
Looks a bit small: https://sjofartsmuseum.museumvest.no/vikingetiden

Thank you both for pointing me in the best direction. As noted, it is at 1:6 scale. I'm thinking that won't scratch this itch (a good American saying) to see a true Viking longship. I guess I will have to come back when the Viking Museum is reopened after its extensive and lengthy renovation.
Very kind of you to respond
There are many other longships you can see. If you're especially interested in Gokstadskipet there is a full scale replica in Sweden that sails in Vänern. It's home port is just outside Lidköping and they have public sailings in the area in the summer, so it's an opportunity to not just see a longship but also sail on one. But if you just want to look at the ship, that is also possible. Read more at https://sigrid.se
I recommend to visit Viking Museum in Roskilde (DK), close to Copenhagen (CPH).
They have rests from 6 original boats and also five rebuilds to co-sail in.
Just keep in mind that not all of the boats in the museum in Roskilde are longships.
