Bergen Hotels

This is probably 'getting into the weeds' as we say here in the states but wondering if anyone has stayed at either the Raddison Blu or Scandic Torget hotels in Bergen.

We'll be there for 2 days and want to walk/bike around town. It seems like they are both in good locations with the Raddison being slightly more expensive, but nicer.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I stayed at the Raddison Blu for 2 nights about 3 years ago and found it to be very comfortable, in a good location and the front desk staff was helpful. It was easy to walk to everything I wanted to see from there, and there were a few good eating options nearby.

We stayed at the Scandic Torget last week. Good tourist class hotel, great breakfast spread, very small (even by Nordic standards) bathroom. Friendly staff, reception/bar combination which has become very common in Scandinavia. Right across from the IT where many tours stop. A superior room gave us a view of the harbor and the fish market area. No complaints.
